  5. F, L - File List
  6.  
  7.    Both F and L do the same thing in ACFiles.  They list the files in the area.
  8.    What is different about ACFiles from most other File Systems is that it has
  9.    a selection bar for ANSI users to mark the files in the list for later
  10.    download.  You may select files in multiple areas and download them all at 1
  11.    time, or you may mark them in 1 area and download just from that area.
  12.    Note that at the bottom of the screen you can see your limits displayed and
  13.    some statistics on the files you have marked.  This is to aid in keeping you
  14.    within your limits.

  16. C - Clear Tagged Files
  17.  
  18.    This command clears your selected files list so that you don't have to go
  19.    through the file list unmarking each and every one.  You can clear the files
  20.    just for 1 area or you may clear them for all the areas.

  22. R - Review Tagged Files
  23.  
  24.    This command displays all of the files you have tagged.  This is helpful to
  25.    know what you have marked previously.

  27. E - Edit Tagged List
  28.  
  29.    Edit tagged list means that you can edit what files you have selected.
  30.    Wildcards ARE accepted here, but are trimmed to only a certain number of
  31.    files.  This also helps ASCII users mark files and all users to weed out
  32.    files they don't really want to download if they are informed they have
  33.    exceeded their limits.

  35. V - View Archive
  36.  
  37.    This allows you to view the filenames of the archive.  It supports .ZIP,
  38.    .PAK, .ZOO, .LZH, .ARC, and .ZOO formats.  Simply enter in the filename you
  39.    want to look inside.  Upon listing the files inside the archive, ACFiles will
  40.    prompt you for a filename to view from the list it gives.  This allows you to
  41.    enter in a textfile name.  Hitting enter simply quits the View Archive
  42.    command.  With this command you can view a program's documentation before
  43.    downloading it.

  45.    Hitting space bar for ANSI users on this prompt will cycle through your
  46.    selected files.

  48. G - View .GIF Header
  49.  
  50.    If the above command is not available, this one will be.  It allows you to
  51.    view .GIF headers revealing the picture's resolution characteristics.

  53.    Hitting space bar for ANSI users on this prompt will cycle through your
  54.    selected files.

  56. T - Type a Textfiles
  57.  
  58.    This allows a user to view a text file.  Any ASCII text file is valid.

  60.    Hitting space bar for ANSI users on this prompt will cycle through your
  61.    selected files.

  63. W - Search by Keyword
  64. S - Search by Filespec
  65. N - Search for New Files

  67. Those three commands allow you to search for files by a Keyword, by a filespec,
  68. or by date.  You may select [A] for All areas or [T] for just the area you are
  69. in.

  71. U - Upload a File
  72.  
  73.    This allows you to upload a file to the BBS.  You may use Zmodem, Xmodem, or
  74.    Ymodem.  Future releases will allow many more protocols.

  76. D - Download a File
  77.  
  78.    This allows you to download files.  You may choose to download all the files
  79.    you have marked in all the areas, download files marked in just the area you
  80.    are in, or you may specify filenames.  After download, a "Times Downloaded"
  81.    counter will be updated in the file listing.  This is in []'s and tells the
  82.    user how many times that file has been downloaded.

  84. A - Area Change
  85.  
  86.    This allows you to change to a different file area.
  87.  
  88. M - Exit ACFiles
  89.  
  90.    This brings you back to the BBS and exits ACFiles.
